MacArthur/Kilchoman/Caledon/Erin/Chinguacousy/Nottawasaga

Hi folks,
Thanks to all who have responded to my enquiry of a couple of weeks ago on
this subject. I had some interesting replies, some from distant connections,
but nothing new unfortunately, so here goes again.
Please reply if you know anything about the following: Janet McArthur b.
Islay 1775, unmarried, Gilbert McArthur, b. Islay 1776, m. Easther Campbell
b. Islay 1784;
Archibald Currie MacArthur b. Islay 1793, m. in Kilarrow, 1818 to Catharine
Taylor; Alexander McArthur b. Islay 1800, m. Mary McDougall b. Islay 1803;
Peter McArthur b. Islay circa 1805 , m. Catherine McLean.
All of these emigrated to Peel/Wellington, Ontario around 1820, and Arch.
and Alex. moved on to Nottawasaga about 1848, but they are not necessarily
siblings.
Cheers, Don

Don,
I have a Peter MacArthur in my database, born abt 1800 in Islay, with a son
Charles. This Peter had a brother, Hugh. My data is very sketchy, but comes
from a gggdaughter of Charles. I have more info on Hugh than Peter. If you
think there could be a match, contact me off-List and I will try to put you
in touch with her.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in this message, there is no intentional
attachment on this e-mail transmission.
