Subject: [SCT-ISLAY] Calders to Canada

Three weeks or so ago I posted a message regarding one of my McKenzie line who married a Calder and moved to Canada. I'm guessing that this move would have been around 1892-1895. One of you kind people sent me a message with information on a Calder tombstone. I have somehow lost that message. I would greatly appreciate it if that person could send me the information again if possible. I promise to take better care of it this time.

I am still trying to track down more information my six McKenzies that moved from Islay to Grey County, Ontario in 1862. I am now wondering if there is any connection to the Calder move. Being geographically challenged with regard to Canadian locations I am intrigued with Grey County's proximity to Simcoe County and the other sites that I have seen mentioned a number of times in messages here...locations with which I had no context to relate to (that's a rather convoluted phrase but I hope you get my point).

Many thanks for the information I have been provided.Get more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
