Hi Linda

I'm also in Western Australia. I'm interested in the Johnston family as my
grandmother was a Johnston. I'm not really an active genealogist as I have
too much else on my plate right now, so I've been enjoying the list and
making mental notes of mail that might be interesting when I finally have
time to do proper family history.

My mother has collected a fair bit, but has only just cottoned onto this
Islay list.

I did think it might be fun to find out how many of us descendants of Islay
there are in WA, though.

Has anyone ever had a gathering here in Perth? I hasten to add, I can't
offer to organise one right now, though.

Regards
Margaret Fowler
