Hello Margaret
I'm John McFarlane a Scotsman (you guessed!) from Oban Argyll UK near Islay.
My Wife is an Islay Johnston and we are working on our Islay family tree.
Could you ley us know details of your Grandmother and if possible her
parents so that we can see where they fit in to our lot - if at all !
