Hello Sue:

I understand that one of your projects may be transcribing church records for
the above. When you get it posted, we would be interested in some of the
McLARTY folks, specifically John McLARTY, b. Islay, 1801, d. Grey Cty, ONT,
1881. He is buried in the Rocky Saugeen Cemetery. There is (was?) a Rocky
Saugeen Presbyterian Church there at one time. His 1st wife was Janet
McCuaig, b. Islay, ~1800. d. ~1845? His 2nd wife, Agnes Neilson McLarty, b.
Neilston, Renfrew, is buried in a cemetery in London, ONT. They came to Grey
County in 1857. He had several siblings that came to ONT at various times.
His farm is pictured in Farm Lanes of Bentinck, 1850-2000. Any info greatly
appreciated.
