Dougald McPhee (1827-1880) was one of the 4 sons of Neil McPhee (or
McDuffie?) & Janet Keith. The OPR has this:

MACDUFFIE, Dougald; father Neill MACDUFFIE, mother Janet KEITH; male;
christening; 17 Feb 1822; Kilmeny. I haven't seen the original record and I
wonder if the christening date was actually 1827, some handwritten records
being hard to read and incorrectly transcribed.

And these three could be his brothers:

MCDUFFIE, Peter; s/o Neil MCDUFFIE & Janet KEITH; male; christening; 18 May
1823; Kilmeny

MCDUFFIE, Archibald; s/o Neil MCDUFFIE & Janet KEITH; male; christening; 21
Mar 1827; Kilmeny

MCDUFFIE, Donald; s/o Neil MCDUFFIE & Janet KEITH; male; christening; 28 Feb
1833; Kilmeny

And who are these two?

MCDUFFIE, Catherine; d/o Neil MCDUFFIE & Janet KEITH; female; christening;
18 Dec 1824; Kilmeny

MCDUFFIE, Neil; s/o Neil MCDUFFIE & Janet KEITH; male; christening); 8 June
1829; Kilmeny

Is anyone researching this family? Neil McPhee and Janet Keith crossed the
Atlantic early 1830's and Janet died at sea. According to family tradition
they brought 4 sons, Dougald, Peter, Archie and Donald, and likely Janet's
sister Elizabeth Keith whom Neil married in Canada.

By the way I'm interested in photos of the 4 brothers if anyone has them! I
have photos of Peter, my gggrandfather.

John Keith MacPhee II
