Something I have always found useful as a Gaelic learner is the weekly
program put out by Radio Gàidheal (BBC), Litir do Luchd-Ionnsachaidh ...
and before you say you're not in Scotland -- it's on the Web, and both the
audio and the verbal version can be downloaded:

I do it every week, and the last few editions are also online. Moreover, the
topics are interesting!

Tapes and texts and dictionaries are great tools, but they don't help with
the normal social exchange of ideas and info, which is the whole point of
language, right? I bet there are lots of people who once bought a text or
tape and eventually gave up on it. I'd love to hear from anyone who is also
