Hello list;

In the summer of 2000, my wife & I visited the Museum of Islay Life and we had a few hours to research some of the material relating to my Campbell ancestors from Lower Killeyan and Giol on The Oa. While there, one of the staff kindly copied a hand-written list of people who had supposedly left Islay for Canada on the Damascus. I just found this among my papers a few days ago but thought it may be of interest to some of you.

Some of the hand-writing is a bit difficult to decipher. Not sure of the significance of the date as I know that my Alex Campbell left Lower Killeyan in 1868. Hope this list helps someone.
