Hi List, I was wondering if anyone on the list is related to the CARMICHAELS in Thorah Twp of the 1830s. I am trying to find out who Flora CARMICHAEL's parents/family is. She was born around 1831 and died in 1890. She married my gggrandfather Nicol CAMPBELL. Nichol was born on Islay at Lurabus, Oa (christened Feb 8, 1821). I was wondering if the Carmichaels were from Islay too. I'm speculating that her parents may be Duncan CARMICHAEL and Flora CAMPBELL but I have no solid evidence to go by. Any input would be appreciated. ---Christine Harenberg
