Robert, There are lots of McCuaigs and Gilchrists on this list. Do you know
if your McCuaigs and Gilchrists came to Ontario Canada. If so do you have
any idea where they were in Ontario? Our direct Gilchrists came to Ontario,
Woodville area and lived close to Hartley. My husband's g-grandmother
Catherine married James Gilchrist and after he died in his late 30's she
married Duncan McCuaig. She had 4 children by her first marriage of which
only one survived long enough to marry . This was Don's grandfather Duncan
Alexander Gilchrist. She had three children from her marriage to Duncan
McCuaig , a son and two daughters. I am sure someone will be able to help
