Happy New Year to all list members.
I finally have some free time and have been rechecking the Islay website.
On Ted Larson's (or Monta Salmon's) Islay Marriages Excel file 1855- 1875 I see the following entry.
Marriage Date: 04-Jan-1872.
Kilchoman Parrish, Church of Scotland
Groom: Robert McLellan, age 28
Bride: Ann Ferguson, age 23
Groom's Parents: Peter McLellan, Janet Ferguson
Bride's Parents: John Ferguson, Kate McNiven

I am interested in finding information about the Groom's Parents, Peter McLellan and Janet Ferguson. Did Peter and Janet remain on Islay?
I believe their date of marriage was 23-Apr-1833 in Kilchoman Parrish. I have not seen a record of either of their deaths in the Excel Islay files.

As well, I would like to hear from anyone connected to the Bride's Parents.
If anyone connects with any of the above families I would appreciate hearing from you.
