I too am interested in McDOUGALLs in MULL who emmigrated to Canada. I
don't
see an immediate connection between our McDOUGALLs, but that could be
because
you are both a generation further into research than I am - not to
mention the large
# of McDOUGALLs in MULL.

Allan McDOUGALL(McLUCAS/McLUGASH/McLUCAIS) was born around 1808.
[possibly son of Donald McLUCAIS/Flora McKINNON - but just speculation]
He married Catherine CAMERON. They lived in IONA in 1841 and had 4
children there.
Mary #1(1837) died 1839.
Mary #2(1841), - married John CAMERON and moved to Bottineau ND
John(1844)
Charles(1846)
before emmigrating to Bentinck Twp. In Bentinck they had 2 further
children:
Donald/Daniel McDOUGALL (1849) - married Catherine McINTOSH
Neil McDOUGALL(1853) - married Maggie Selkirk STORRAR and moved to
Bottineau ND

Sons John, Charles. Father Allan and Daniel's wife (Catherine McINTOSH)
are all
buried in Rocky Saugeen Cemetery.

My 2nd McDOUGALL interest is
Elizabeth McDOUGALL born about 1824-1827. She married Donald McINTOSH.
They had 10 kids in Bentinck Twp.

Elizabeth, Donald and son Peter are buried together in Rocky Saugeen.
Daughter Catherine is buried with the McDOUGALLs mentioned above.
