Hi All

While going through the Mclean obits from the Bruce & Grey district of
Ontario. I found this one. It sounds interesting any comments about the
fued?

Isle of MullScottish Chief Dead, Sir Fitsroy Donald McLean, Nov 23
1936, Scotland's oldest clan chief who in 1932 buried the hatchett with
the MacLeans ancient rivals the Campbells, died last night in historic
Duart Castle, Sir Fitsroy was 101 yrs old. The ancient fued between the
clan MacLean & the clan Campbell was said to have originated over the
love of a woman in 1745 and to be carried throughout the years until
both sides called it off in 1932, this is the complete article, pg. 52
