I'd start a letter writing campaign first.

Find out what cemeteries are found around Glasgow, I usually write to
the City administrators office where ever I'm searching. They are alway
most helpful they will forward on your letter to someone or the
department who maintains the cemeteries. Always ask for the fee's for
looking up a grave site.

See if you could obtain an obit from Hectors or his wife's death. As you
didn't mention when she died. Most obits have a vast amount of
information hidden away.

You might want to send a letter to the Scottish Banner editor and have
them place it in the Scotpourri section (under 150 words).

Also you may want to write a leter to the Oban times editor they will
place it in the leter to the editor section. I met some very helpful
people in Scotland using both of these papers. I didn't have the proper
address, I sent it to Oban Times, Oban, Argyll, Scotland.

You might want to check out and place your interests on the Argyll
surname list. Someone else my be looking for McInnes, I've had quite a
few responses from Barbara's list

Anyone else have any thoughts
