Gday everyone,

I'm fairly new to this list so am posting my interests - I know its unwise
to try so called "shotgun" method but I dont have enough info to tyr the
"laser" method as yet.

I'm interested in any HENDRY, MACNACHTON, or clan connection with the names.
Any spelling variation at this stage My ggggrandfather William HENDRY was
born in Scotland in 1816. His father's name was John. Family moved to
Newcastle 1820's - William married Catherine ROBSON in 1840.

Both father and son, John and William were glass bottlemakers. I am trying
Argyll because of the distilleries. Already on MORAY list because I have
found a possible HENDRY-COWIE marriage there which may prove positive. I
read the MACNACHTON's originated in Moray anyway. HENDRY's may have been at
Glencoe or supported Bonnie Prince Charlie and stayed in Morayshire area
after Culloden.

Any other suggestions? Can anyone help? May not make a connection at the
moment but any "sitings" I can file for future reference are also
appreciated.
