Hello to all !!
I have just found a copy of a story on Archibald, which was given to me in
the early 1970's by a MacKechnie from North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
The information was prepared by S. Wyman MACKECHNIE of Quyon, Quebec.

The information details Archibald and his wife Ann Wright ,whose children
John, Catherine,Nancy and Archibald(all born in Glasgow) arriving in
Canada, June 25,1821.
They first settled on Lot 11, Concession 2, Township of Ramsay,County of
Lanark,Ontario later moving to Bristol C.E.(Quebec) where they settled on a
450 acre farm called "Muckleburn".
Also included with this information is a family outline of Archibald II
(Jan 17,1816-July 18, 1872.) and wife Matilda Walker with 16 children
listed and William Walker MACKECHNIE (1845-1929),wife Susan Wyman EDEY and
4 children.

I do not beleive that my McKechnie relatives from around Durham, Ontario
are tied into this family. It is my hope that this info will benefit
someone else.

If anyone on the list feels that the above ties into their research, I
would be most happy to copy and send via snail mail.
