Hello Everyone,

I am new to your list, and wanted to take this opportunity to say hello, and introduce myself. :-)

My name is Debbie Derrick, and I live in B.C.

My "Brick Wall" is Flora MCINTYRE, she is my 3x G. Grandmother.
>From the 1851 census, I learned that she was born in Mull - abt. 1816. Exactly WHERE on Mull is not recorded. :-(
She died between the time of the 1851/1861 census in Garnkirk, Cadder LKS.

Flora married William McLure in Glenorchy & Inishail, Argyll, in January 1840. Both Flora & William were employed as servants at Inisdrynich House, Glenorchy.

Their first child was Mary Ann McLure, born in Rosskeen, Ross & Cromarty, June 25, 1840.
Did Flora travel to Rosskeen to have her first child because she had family (other McIntyre's) living there??

The other children of Flora & William were:
Emily, Sarah, Flora and William.

Does anyone recognise my Flora McIntyre? Has anyone come across a family of Mull McIntyre's that may have included the first names Emily & Sarah?

Any help will be most appreciated!
