I am certainly interested!

Maybe in my lifetime I will succeed in "jumping the pond" to locate the
ancestry of my g-g-grandfather Neil MacLEAN, "of Coll or Mull" who arrived
in Cape Breton, Inverness Co., Nova Scotia c. 1820 with a wife named
Margaret (likely a 2nd wife) and a 9 year old son Donald, b. Scotland 1811.
More children were born in Canada. OPR records do not list birth of a
Donald to a Neil MacLEAN in 1811.

My sister and I plan to attend the 2002 Gathering the Clan MacLEAN on Mull.
