Hi

I was checking some records in Caledon Township
Peel County Ontario and thought someone might be interested
in the following references to Mull people:

Location ticket in 1821 for lot 13 concession 3 east to
John Lamont, a native of Torosay, Isle of Mull, Argyleshire
Scotland.

Obituary for Donald McArthur, a native of Iona, who
died in 1880 age 75. It says he left Iona in 1830 at the
age of 25. His wife was Sarah McGillivray.

Land grants (1821, 1822) for several McQuarries, including John, Farquhar,
Hector, and Donald. The records say natives of Argyleshire, but
I have other information which shows they are from Ulva.

Land grant for Farquhar McKinnon, parish of Kilfinichen in
1821.........he's mine but just in case anyone knows anything
else.....
