there are people there who descend from your family, you need to send an

Leave the subject line blank and just put "subscribe" without the quotation
marks in the body of the message. You'll receive a welcome message with
full instructions for posting to the list. Remember to use plain text
rather than HTML.

There is also a Ross of Mull Historical Society which covers the part of
Mull that concerns you and they have an email address too. Try
and they may well be able to help you with your query.
There were CURRIEs in and around Bunessan as well, so you might well find
that you have other ancestors in that part of the world. Both the Isle of
Mull and Ross of Mull groups will be very happy to learn what you can tell
them about your family so they can add to their data base so it will be
mutually beneficial.

I have already copied your message to the Isle of Mull group so you may
receive some replies direct from them.
