Hi All :
I sent a message to the List a couple of wks ago about the above
subject and
received a very interesting Email , from Margot Herzer in NZ.

We would like if some-one could check out on the 1851 or 1861 census the
family of
an Isabella Campbell and a Peter McNair who,s family are noted as being born
at
Kilfinchen Mull a John McNair was born Oct 1852, there was also
an Archibald Campbell McNair b. 30 Jan 1854 and a Janet McNair , b.29 Mar
1856 to that family.

What would be realy good would be if anyone has the 1861 Census for Glasgow,
to check out the family of another Isabella Campbell and Peter McNair in
Glasgow,

This family has I think a John McNair b. 1846
Donald McNair b. 1849
Janet McNair ..............
Willian Campbell b. 1852
Euphemia McNair b. 1859
Jessie Campbell McNair b. 1862

Though we are undecided at the moment it is my view that this children born
perhaps
in Glasgow are grandchildren to the late Donald Campbell and Janet Campbell
at
Baligown, and that the above William was at the time of the 1861 living with
his
grandparents at Balygown.

ANY HELP . will be greatly appreciated
