Subject: Sad news!

Sorry to have to contact you with this sad news. My father, Jack McColl,
passed away last weekend. It appears that he had a heart attack in his sleep
and died quickly. The funeral is on Saturday at 11am in Arisaig Church.
Janice and Alison and other members of the family will be arriving on Friday.

It's been a total shock to us all, as he has always seemed so heathy and
vigourous. It's especially hard to come to grips with at this time of the
year. I'm sure your thoughts will be with us, even if you are unable to come.
I appreciate that trying to travel to this part of Scotland at this time of
the year is very difficult. Please pass this information on to anyone else
you think ought to be informed.
