List: Hit a boring stretch at about 1 AM last night while web surfing
at one of my pay sites and just typed in place names I am interest in.
And the following popped up. I am NOT researching these people, just
interested in Tobermory.
History of Montana, USA published in 1921, Vol. II, has vanity
biographies. They are great for genealogical purposes. The following
is a condensed version of a full column bio on page 189:
McCALMAN, James, born 23 December, 1859 Scotland married Marion
McFARLANE, daughter of John McFARLANE of Tobermory, Scotland in 1908
in Tacoma, Washington, USA. They have three sons, Ronald (03 Aug
1909), Douglas (27 April 1912) and Malcolm (12 Sept. 1917). McCalman
supposedly has stone business in Montana and mined for gold in Alaska.
