I,as well as most other Mull researchers on this list, always get the film
of the original records from Salt Lake to view at their local FHC.
Sometimes there is extra info that's not included in the IGI record.
The Indexed Scottish Church Records(OPRs) on C.D. at most FHCs is a good
source,I recently helped Anne Stevens get a list of all the BEATONS etc.in
specific parishes,to make up a data base for lookups.

Scotlands People may have some records that are not on this CD,as they are
constantly updating the OPRs,but the CD is a good start.

Take note of the film that the record is taken from in the CD and the IGI
and order it from Salt Lake and view it at your local FHC.

My gr.gr.grandmother Annie Kerr is listed in the OPRs as born in Tynron
Parish in Dumfries, but in viewing the film I narrowed it down to a place
called Clonrae.
