Interestingly Hector Hugh also had Lachlan Allan McLean and there is a
separate book about him. The one son I can't find later is Hugh, his
natural child born to Catherine McGilvra...might be call McLean or McGilvra
and maybe he even changed his first name.
Incidentally as far as I know Margaret Grierson, nee McLean (his other
daughter) stayed on in Scotland and had a number of children.

Mary Sibella the wife of Duncan Black Blair is also the d/o Hector
McLean and Ann McLeod.

Hector and Ann also had Margaret who I inadvertently submitted
previously.. Hope Ian doesn't get too confused..
