Here is the information I have on the above couple.
The Marriage and Baptisms are from the CD of Mull Marriages &
Baptisms, LDS Family History Centre, and should be available onthe
IGI at www.familysearch.org. And also from John BEATON;s e-mail Nov.
5, 2005, which can be found on the Rootsweb Isle of Mull Mailing List
Archives.

Lachlan BEATON bap 17 FEb. 1771, Kilninian & Kilmore Parish, Mull.
(May have been born Ballygown, Kiln. & Kilm)
married 6 March 1770, Kilninian & Kilmore - Kathrine McKINNON (no dates)
Their children:
Donald bap. 17 Feb. 1771, Kiln & Kilm. born Ballygown (?)
Roderick b. c. 1772-3 (Ref: John Beaton above)
Mary bap. 21 Aug. 1774 Kiln. & Kilm. (Torloisk?)
Christian bap. 17 Mar. 1782 Kiln & Kilm (Torloisk?)
Archibald bap. 2 Sept. 1765 Kiln & Kilm (Gometra)
John b. 5 Oct. 1791 Kiln & Kilm (b. Gometra(?))(Ref: John. Beaton)

I haven't been able to connect Lachlan BEATON with my Beatons yet,
but you never know.
