Hi Jill

Welcome aboard glad you decided to join us. I'm glad you were able to
make contact with some of the McEachern/Mckechnie researchers.

So know I must ask about the Cowan family. Have you noticed that they
also appear as McCowan in some records.
I'm working towards placing famlies b/m/c dates into the 1841/1851
census and may be at this project for a spell.

Checking the IGI I find enteries Hugh Cowan & Ann McFadyen having
Alexander Jan 8 1825 Kilmallie
Catherine feb 11 1821 Kilmallie, Charles Feb 23 1823 Kilmallie.

So if you find anything further on you family please let the list know
so we can add it to Ians db.
