Does anyone have a recent e-mail address for Mary Hoff, as the letter below
has just been returned to me, (or if you are reading this Mary), but if
anyone else can help??

Hello Mary,
I was looking through the 'Archives' of the 'SCT-MULL' website and came
across a message from you dated, 20 Feb 1999, regarding a list you had of
some of those wishing to emigrate from the Ross of Mull to Canada, about
1847. and also a list you had of 2 of the ships. You said you would post it
in a few days
to the list, but I haven't been able to find it and wondered if you could
possibly send me a copy, or do a look up for me?

My g-g-grandparents Duncan McLean (b abt 1790) and Catherine Boyd (b, abt
1800-6) and their family Angus (b.1825) , Margaret (b.1827), Hector (b.
1830), Una(Hannah) (b. 1834), and Duncan (b.1840) were living in Shiaba in
1841 and are nowhere to be found afterwards, except for my g-grandmother
Hannah, and sister Margaret who seem to have gone to mainland Scotland for
work and both end up in Cardross Dumbartonshire, where my g-grandmother
marries.

I have wondered if the rest of the family emigrated when they were probably
evicted from Shiaba in 1847, and wonder if they may be on a list??
