Hi Jo-Anne,
Passenger lists were kept in Canada from 1865 onwards for the ports of
Quebec and Halifax. Even if they were travelling on to Montreal they
were officially cleared through Grosse Isle at Quebec City. Microfilms
may be borrowed through inter-library loan from the National Archives
of Canada but there is no index to anything, so it is a matter of
searching each list. You could try and narrow it down by taking a
guess at the likely port of departure (Greenock?) and time of year.
