Yes, Sharon, please don't stop! You are a wonderful writer and one has a
sense of being there, seeing what you saw, smelling what you smelled, feeling
what you felt. Thank you for sharing these with the list.

By the way, for those listers who may not know, Birse is a parish just east
of Stachan and Banchory parishes. It might as well be a partof
Kincardineshire, and many of us with ancestors in northeastern
Kincardineshire had people from Birse as well.
