Sorry Douglas - no McAdams so far -

my Carsons were from Creetown and rural Kirkmabreck, Balmaghie, Kells, Parton
and Castle Douglas. William Carson and Esther Crae had various children
1770s-1790s in Kirkmabreck: George (c. 1775 -1834) m. Mary Burgess - lived Crogo
and Castle Douglas; Jean Carson (c.1786 - 1870) m. James Burgess - lived Kells,
Parton and Wales; Esther Carson (c. 1795 - >1832) m. Hamilton Kelly - lived ?
Balmaghie. There was also a son John who was left a pocket watch and £10 in
George's will but last heard of (1832) was in Balmaghie.
