Sue the IGI records show births for that family from 1841 Jane or Jean at Inchinnan, Renfrew , to
1849 Hugh born at Kidalton, Argyll. 8 children all told .

I saw that there was an Ewan Macphee who married a Catherine Macphee of Kilmallie, Argyll who had 4
children including an Angus Macphee born 1823.

I do not know if any of this helps....
