Hello Kathy,

Thanks for your reply; however I don't think your Wallaces and Hunters are the same as mine. Maybe somewhere along the line they are. When I looked at the 1851 census I did find several Wallaces born in Nilston. James, born 1815 wa a block cutter and married Janet. Agnes was born in 1798. Another James born 1802 was a head contractor. Would any of these belong to you.
