Hello list,

I am new to your list. I am researching the name YUILL. I am looking for
census information from someone who may have access to the records.
Unfortunately I do not have a specific address but I am hoping that this is
seen by someone a bit more clued up than me and can see a way round it.
Fingers crossed. I am looking for:


JAMES YUEL (later spelt YUILL) and his wife Mary YUILL (nee Stevenson). They
had a son in 1825, Robert. The area was Abbey (Paisley), Renfrew.

I dont seem to be able to find a marriage for them and I havent been able to
find more siblings. So will I be safe in asking for the 1841/51 census to be
looked at please.

The family did not move from the area as Robert married a Margaret Adam in
1852. High church, Paisley, Renfrew. They went on to have two
children.....Archibald b. 1854 and James b. 1857, again in Paisley, Renfrew.

Because they stayed in the same area I am hopeful they will be easy to find.
If census details are not available any snippets found really really
appreciated. Thank you
