Hello Listers:

I have one of those stone wall problems.

James Whiteford married Sarah Aitken on 7 Dec. 1826 at Port Glasgow, Renfrew, Scotland.
James was born circa 1795 and Sarah about 1803. I believe they both had Irish roots.
The couple had at least three children while in Scotland; John about 1828, Agnes about 1831 and Sarah about 1834.
In 1835 or so they emigrated to Huron County in Upper Canada or Ontario as it is now called .
I have not been able to locate the birth records of the children or determine where James and Sarah came from
or who their parents may have been.

Does some kind soul out there have any ideas or information?
