Seeking location of Crossflat, Renfrewshire. On 1881 Census my ancestor, Margaret
Watson Ritchie gives Crossflat as her birthplace i 1830.
I have a newpaper article from 1874 which mentions Crossflat Nursery furnishing decorations for a party and a Mrs. Fullerton from Crossflat in attendance.
It would be helpful in trying to locate her parish birth records and information on her parents, which are given as William and Jane Wilson Watson, his occupation, Weaver's Warper on Margaret Ritchie's death record of 1881.
