Thanks for the offer. As I mentioned before William Telford's tombstone
states he was born 15 Nov., 1810 in Bewcastle. However a UK Census for 1841
says he is 29 years old which would place his birth in 1812.

The marriage certificate (a photo copy from LDS film) shows he was married
at CofE in Kirkandrews on 13 Dec 1832, to Mary Blaylock. William was
bachelor of the Chapelry of Nichol Forest. They were married in the church
by banns ( a copy of which I have not seen). The marriage was witnessed by
Christopher Little and Margaret Blaylock.

He and Mary had 10 children : William 15 July 1832, Richard 11 Aug1835,
Jacob 30 Sept 1837, Robert 18 Aug 1839, Jane 9 April 1842,. John 13m
Sep,1844, Thomas 9 Aug 1846,Joseph ??11 Sept 1848??,James about 1850,
Johnathan about 1852.

Robert and William emigrated to Canada in 1856, no record of ship used,
legend says the came to Hamilton Ontario. and then on to Freelton, Beverley
areain Wentworth County. Richard , lengend says, was a soldier in the
Crimean War. Jacob remained in England and i understand was a tailor.
William and Mary and the rest of family came to Canada in 1858,

Mary Blaylock was daughter of Margaret Johns(t)on,William Blaylock. a
tailor, living in Moat common. I have record of this family back to mid
1700's thanks to a John Blaylock who livies in Bewcastle .

That is about all I know of this family.
