Log on to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk it is not free but not expensive at £6 for 30 units for searching. One unit to view a page of possible names and if a printable image is available 5 units to view. Certificates can be ordered for posting at £10. The session expires after 167 hours but unused units can be used the next time you pay for a session. www.familysearch.com is useful for pin pointing possible events to confirm with scotlandspeople. That's my ploy anyway.
