Can somebody sort out this little dilema for me. On the 1871 Census my
3xGreat Grandfather James Stuart (var) listed his place of birth as shown below :-

Does anyone know where HARPOIS TOWN may be ??? I am certain that this is
not the correct spelling as was the way in 1871 Britain.
In addition if someone could look up the Marriages at Sprouston for James
STEWART (var) and Catherine MIDDLEMOST I would be most Grateful.
