This outlines our present family's descent from the High Kings of Ireland,
the Kings of Scotland and the Chiefs of the Clans both Irish and Scot's.
I hope this is helpful. We are members of Clan Mackay Australia
and are recorded as descendants of the Earls of Sutherland in Scotland by
Clan Sutherland.

As I mentioned before my mothers family name was Devine. The name history of
that Clan from Colla-da-Chrioch the brother of Colla Uais High King of
Ireland above descends in this way.

1] Colla-da-Chrioch, King of Orgiall, Ulster ,brother of Colla Uais, High
King of Ireland, son of Eochaidh Dubhlen and Alechia dau of the Pictish King

ancestor of the O'Neill dynasty and one line of the Royal Family of England.
