Hi Rob,
There was no Arcus in the Dunrossness Free Church records, or in the 1872-73 Land records, Had a look at the Dunrossness Blotter Register for 1854 and found the
following;

George Arcus in Hellwill, and wife Jean Flause had the following children
Adam born 15 March 1848
Jean born 15 October 1851.

Will check the Land records 1787-1868 in the coming week.
