very interesting I hope someday to get a hold of these two volumes by
Mahlon Goudie and study them also.
Sorry I can't help too much on these as they are very early records I
have some on the families that Margot mentioned re the William
Goudie-Elizabeth Lesslie line and I believe that William Goudie's
parents were Robert Goudie-Elizabeth Stout . Perhaps Tony Gott might be
able to confirm or deny that or say that it is uncertain? I'll send my
files on that for you to have a look at. and on some of these lines.

{not sure of where Trosswickness is or if this is the same William but
I have a William Goudie of Scousburgh (directly east of Clumlie) that
married Jean Bairnson and had children John 1768 William 1771 and
unknown 1776} may be too late though I'm not sure

This would be Gavin Goudie who married Marion Georgedaughtr (Georgeson)
