Hi Jim,

I am related through the Smith's of Pickigarth. The earliest record I have
of the name is as the place of birth for the children of Olla Smith (b abt
1725) and Martha Duncan (b abt 1727). Olla and Martha are my GGGGGG
Grandparents.

Oliver Smith M 45 husband of Jannet - shown on the list, is the brother of
Magnus Smith (b 1800) my GGGG Grandfather.

I know that Jannet, Olivers wife was a Bain but what is the relationship to
the other Bain's living in Pickigarth, and who are the Stute's (Stout's?).
