The only Tamar Gardner who married a William that I know of married a
William Tulloch on 16 Dec 1869. He was still alive in 1891.
I wonder if there is some connection with that shadowy figure Sholto
Gardner, husband of Jacobina Winwick. I'm not sure we found all their
children, and they did have a son Robert who was probably the one who went
to New Zealand and died there in 1879.
