Hi, I have a Johannah Yates b. 1842 Bressay, Shetland who married James
Murray b 1840 Bressay and had a son James 1863 Bressay.They disappear after
that and I have only just realised they are in Westoe in 1881c. James senior
was a seaman M.S. and must have died as Johannah has remarried,
unfortunately her husband is not at home.
1881 24 Eldin St Westoe Durham
Johannah BURELL Head Mar 37 F Brensay Isle Shetland
James MURRAY son sailor 17 M Brensay Isle Shetland
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I can't find Johannah in 1901c, despite
trying every spelling I can think of..
