Tony
Thanks for your wonderful work on this database as well as all the other
information you have provided.

I have one correction to make for Magnus HUGHSON, son of William HUGHSON and
Jane MOAR. The d.o.b. is incorrect and is in fact unknown. You will see you
have 2 Magnus HUGHSONs with the same date of birth.(The other one would be
correct) I have been trying for some time to find some documentary proof of
Magnus's birth but have been so far unsuccessful. The census reports and
death certificate make the date about 1807.

I have a death certificate of Charles Stobie HUGHSON who was the son of
Peter HUGHSON and Elizabeth LEASK. I had claimed him in error as the son of
Peter Innes HUGHSON. He died in Melbourne, Australia on 5th March 1921. He
was struck and killed by a car on his first day of working at the Cool
Stores in East Melbourne as a contract carpenter. He was a teetotaller,
married to Bertha May SAVILLE at the age of 40. He had been in Victoria for
6 years and was intending to buy some land there. They had no children.
