Hi chris,,i am not sure if this is going to help your research, but my grandfather who was born in stirling shire,,,,His name is James Young . He was born in 1910. He had a sister named Maggie, which is sometimes short for margaret....He claimed that Maggie went missing....He now lives in Newcastle, N.S.W. His Father was William Young and his Grandfather was James Young. His other brothers and sisters were. Archibald(archie), Joseph, William, Alex. Mary, Jean, Maggie and 2 other brothers.. His Mother's name was Jean. I don't know if i can help you further with your research , but all my mum's side of family come from Stirling and bannockburn region.
