Hello,
Probably very few in Stirling City. I had a look at the 1932 Directory
of the town.
Andrew Fowler. 4 Drip Road.
S. G. Fowler, Policeman. 15 Lower Bridge Street.
Mrs Matilda K. Fowler. 13 Haig Avenue.
That's it!

line of "Fowler" or birders who were in service of the king of Stirling
Castle. One of these Fowlers had a child by a Lady Douglass. Said child,
Alexander C. Fowler 1725-1821, supposedly fathered the Fowler line from his
immigration to the United States in Goochland County Virginia. I was
wondering how prevelant the Fowler name is in the area of Stirling Castle
and in Scotland itself.
