I wonder if anyone has access to the Register of Sassines for Stirling and
would be prepared to do a lookup. My family history seems to been tied up
with 2 properties both in the hands of John Aitken until his death in 1842.
I know their fate after John but the question is who had them before him?

Glenrigg farm in Falkirk where he died 1842 and
Bellsrigg farm in Polmont where he was for the 1841 census

John was born abt 1776 possibly Slamannan so any changes of hands before
about 1796 could give me confirmation back at least another generation.

I am not sure where these are located but I think the library might have
them. As I live in Australia, this is impossible for me.

I hope someone can help.
