Are members aware of the above?

The Scotland Free Census Project is part of the larger UK Free Census
project (aka FreeCEN) that aims to transcribe all UK 19th century census
returns to create an on-line 'free-to-view' database. The project was
launched in April 2002 and to date has 6 active county projects and another
12 due to be underway by the end of the year. Each county project is
beginning with the 1841 census returns and will move on to other years at
the discretion of the county organizer.

Is there an organiser for Sutherland? Is this something people might be
interested in doing/have the time to do? Does anyone know how to go about it?
